Dear parents,
Wow! We had such a wonderful first week that I can hardly believe that is over!
The children are so happy and we are enjoying the great energy in the classroom.
This week we worked on two main topics:
1. Tov BaKitah: We learned how to play a game in Hebrew about greeting our friends. We conjugated this phrase for male and female, singular and plural. Then we made a puppet show using all of the new phrases we had learned.
2. We have begun to learn about the holidays in Tishrei. We discussed the Hebrew months and in order to remember them, we learned a song, made a show and played a game using their names.
If you haven't already done so, please send in your child's Hebrew summer homework packet next week.
